MAKEUP SERVICES T&C’s

Please read through carefully before making a booking. By paying the booking fee, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined below.

BOOKINGS

  • A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. Your date is not confirmed until we have received this.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days before your appointment.

  • Late payments may result in cancellation.

TRAVEL/ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • Travel is calculated from Mahima Artistry’s location (Central Auckland or Tauranga) to your location and back, at a rate of $1 per km.

  • Additional travel costs may apply (e.g. ferry tickets, tolls, parking, taxi, Uber) and will be discussed beforehand.

  • For long-distance bookings, accommodation or extended travel fees may apply.

PHOTOS/ SOCIAL MEDIA

  • With your permission, Mahima Artistry may take photos or videos of your makeup look.

  • These may be used for portfolio, website, or social media promotion.

  • Consent will always be requested before sharing any images publicly.

HEALTH, ALLERGIES AND SENSITIVITIES

  • Clients must inform Mahima Artistry of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions before the appointment.

  • Only professional, high-quality products from reputable brands are used.

  • Mahima Artistry is not liable for any reactions that may occur.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if the client appears sick or has a contagious condition.

CANCELLATION/CHANGES

  • The booking fee is non-refundable and will act as a cancellation fee if you cancel your appointment.

  • Refunds beyond this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • If additional makeup applications are requested on the day (e.g. for bridal party members), we will try to accommodate if time allows.

  • If Mahima Artistry must cancel for any reason, a full refund will be given, or a qualified replacement artist may be offered (if available).

MAKEUP LESSONS T&C’s

Please read through carefully before making a booking. By securing your lesson with payment, you agree to Mahima Artistry’s terms and conditions outlined below.

BOOKINGS

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your lesson date and time.

  • Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received in full.

PHOTOS/ SOCIAL MEDIA

  • With your permission, Mahima Artistry may take photos or short videos during your lesson.

  • These may be used for portfolio, educational, or promotional purposes across digital and social platforms.

  • No images will be used without your consent.

AGE REQUIREMENT

  • Clients must be 16 years or older to book a private 1:1 makeup lesson.

  • Clients under 16 must have written consent from a parent or guardian prior to the lesson.

HEALTH, ALLERGIES AND SENSITIVES

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform Mahima Artistry of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the lesson.

  • All products used are professional-grade and sourced from reputable brands. However, Mahima Artistry cannot be held liable for any reactions, as we are not responsible for the ingredients within third-party products.

  • If you are unwell, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson to allow for rescheduling.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a client appears ill or has a contagious condition, in the interest of health and safety.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES

  • Payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date with a minimum of 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • In the unlikely event that Mahima Artistry must cancel your lesson, you will receive a full refund, or an alternative date will be offered.
